Linesides: Good, not great, but should get better when the weather stabilizes. The flatline and planer-board bite is starting to pick up but is over with by 9:30 am. “Then it’s downrods and four-arm U-rigs. We caught more fish this week on our U-rigs then live bait, and that’s the best bite right now. I am targeting the flats from Victoria all the way up to Clear Creek. I’m not even looking in the Allatoona arm right now. There’s a ton of fish moving up on flats and points to feed on small threadfin right now. Catch them on jigging spoons or Rooster Tails if you can get them deep enough. Fish 10 to 12 feet deep. The flats off Gaults have been good, as well as the island at Harbor Town and Bartow-Carver. Seagulls are starting to show up. I expect in December the fishing will be full blown. Key on birds and topwater. Keep a Super Fluke, Sammy or Zara Spook ready. Pull flatlines and planer boards, and later in the mornings pull a lighter three-arm U-rig.” We still have a few days open for Christmas Break give me a call at 770 827-6282 and lets take the kids fishing…….View my daily catches at www.lakeallatoonafishing.net under the thread Recent Trips With First Bite….

Line-sides GREAT !!! the bite this week has been outstanding. The fish are starting to move up on the points, Flats and humps and are very easy to catch when you find them. The live bait bite is hard to beat right now. Flat-lines and planner-boards are working well at sun up and then again at sun down. After the sun comes up down-lines fished at 20 - 50 over open water is working well. The north end of the lake is starting to clear and is producing some good fish. The Allatoona Creek arm is also starting to produce. I really don’t think it matters what part of the lake you are fishing right now so long as you target the flats, Humps and main lake points.
Lake Allatoona Fishing Guides Report For November. ( Week 1 )
Lake Allatoona Fishing Guides Report for striper and hybrid has been brought to you exclusively by Robert Eidson of First Bite Guide Service, 770-827-6282. eidson6260@comcast.net. www.firstbiteguideservice.com Line side fishing is the same this week as last weeks .
Great. The bite this week is the same as last week’s but seems to be better for size and numbers. The lake is in the process of turning over and all the action is on the north end of the lake right now. We have been catching most of our fish on the bottom ” 8- to 20 “-feet deep on the flats from Little River to Fields Landing, the fish will gradually start moving back downlake. The fish are relating to the bottom. The best bite has been on jigging spoons dropped to the bottom and then twitched up about 6 inches. The bite will come as the spoon falls. I like a 3/4- or 1-oz. Flex-It in chrome with either white or chartreuse. Spoons are catching a mixed bag of hybrids, stripers and white bass, and we are even catching a few big catfish in the same area. It’s not uncommon to boat 30 or 40 fish. The fish will also hit live bait, and the gizzards and threadfins are easy to catch in Little River. You just have to get there before sun-up. Linesides are hitting shad both on downlined and freelines. With the down rods being the better bite….

Line-sides Good ! The bite this week has been very good . The stripers are starting to come back down out of the rivers and are finally starting eat. The north end of the lake is the place to be right now for Stripers, Hybrid and White Bass and Monster Catfish. The best bite right now is happening from Little River bridge up to Fields Landing. Most of our fish this week have came on jigging spoons fishing right on the bottom on the edge of the river - creek channels. Our bigger fish have came on big Thread-fin and Gizzard shad. Our live bait bite has been about 70/30 down lines out fishing free-lines. The bite may change by the weekend do to the drop of temperature we are experience right now. If the fish do move over the weekend look for them to be somewhere between Little River and Kellogg’s Creek.
Carters Lake Report…….
The live Bait bite on Carters is Still DEAD unless your luck enough to get your hand on some Alewife. The Alewife are becoming the bait of choose for Carters lake whenit comes to stripers. We ( The Anglers ) seen this coming last year, last winter we saw a big drop off on the thread-fin Gizzard shad and even more on the trout bite. This year I have use all four baits Trout, Thread-fin, Gizzard Shad and Alewife. The only bait I am having any luck on is the Alewife. The fish have just change their diets and Alewife is the key to catching stripers on Carters if you have alive bait mine set….
The over all best bite on Carters for me the last two years has been on Umbrella Rigs. I have caught at least 80 % of my stripers on Carters Lake the last two years on rigs….So make sure to carry your trolling gear with you if you heading to Carters Lake it may make the differnets between a good day and a bad day….To view my daily reports please visit me on Face Book under ( Lake Allatoona Fishing Guides ) for up to date reports, Pictures and Videos…..

Good. Nothing has change on Allatoona or Carters since last week report. Fish both of these lake just like you would have last week. There is good schooling activity going on all over the lake in the mornings and afternoons and all day on cloudy days. Look for hybrids and small stripers busting the top in the Fields Landing and Delta area, at the island in front of Kellogg Creek and Harbortown, between Bartow Carver and Illinois Creek, and the biggest school is between Bethany Bridge and Stamp Creek. Fish big, white Rooster Tails, Jr. Flukes and anything on a popping cork. These lures must be fish on 6- to 8-lb. test or you won’t get bit. If they’re not coming up, pull U-rigs they’ll out-fish live bait 5 to 1. I like a Mack Farr four-arm umbrella rig with nine 1/2-oz. white bucktails. Chartreuse or white trailers seem to be working equally well. If you don’t like trolling, try dropping a white-with-chrome Flex-It spoon on top of fish you see on the graph.

Line side fishing is the same this week as last weeks . The fish are on the move, but will eat when you find them. Live bait is really starting to work well on these fish right now. But I still think the spoon bite is the best bite going right now. The southend of the lake is still the place to be. Any where from clear Creek to the Allatoona Creek arm. Troll these area’s with your Mack Farr u-rigs. As soon as you find one of these MEGA schools drop live bait down to them or use a 1 oz spoon on them.
The top water bite has down this weeks compare to last weeks. But should pick back up with the cooler weather we are expecting this weekend. Look for these fish on top early morning and late afternoon. Most of the top-water action we have seen this week has been in eye site of the dam.
