This Lake Allatoona and Carters Lake striper and hybrid report fishing report has been brought to you exclusively by Robert Eidson of First Bite Guide Service, 770-827-6282. eidson6260@comcast.net. www.firstbiteguideservice.com
Line side fishing is really GREAT right now if your on fish. If your not you can Zero just as well. The live bait bite is very slow right now. But the trolling and spooning bite is off the charts at time. Trollers this is your time to shine. Mid lake north is stain to muddy due to all the rain we had this week. At the first of the week the lake was only one foot above full pool. But all the rain we had Monday and Wednesday it has bought the lake back up to 6+ feet above full pool . And not much is happening on the north-end because of it. All the fish I have caught this last week have been south of Clear Creek. Mack Farr u-rigs seem to be the ticket for the trollers right now. Along with a 1 0z flex it spoon for jigging. Look for these fish as deep as 50 feet over open water. The Top Water bite has slowed down a lot. But keep a Jr. Spook ready just in case they pop up. The south end of the lake has been best for top water action the best place right now.
Carters Lake
Line-side fishing on Carters is very good right now. On 10/11/09 my party boat trip boated Hybrids as big as nine pounds. And Stripers that weight up to fourteen pounds. And lost one that went close to twenty pounds. The live bait bit is really starting to pick on Carters and should be on fire in the next two weeks. Bart’s Bait And Tackle now has trout in stock and will carry then thought 4/1/10 . There is also a good trolling bite going on as well. First Bite Guide Service is now taking booking for Carters Lake Trophy trips you can view video and pricing for these trips at www.carterslakefishingguide.com or call for details…..
